"What to do with a cake mix?---Make cookies, naturally! A little bit of everything."

• Ingredients: 8
• Serves: 75

ingredients

• 1 box chocolate cake mix
• 1 cup water
• 1⁄3 cup oil
• 3 whole eggs
• 1 teaspoon allspice
• 1 teaspoon clove
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 3 -4 cups quick-cooking oatmeal, to thicken the batter.

directions

1. Preheat oven 375% Put cake mix in bowl.
2. Add all ingredients.
3. Except oatmeal.
4. Add oatmeal to thicken.
5. Blend.
6. Drop by t.
7. on ungreased cookie sheet.
8. Bake for 15 minutes.
9. Cool on sheet for at least 2 min.
10. Remove to wax paper and let cool completely.

Sorry these cookies were not our kind of cookies. They were easy to make and the aroma lefted our house smelling nice but texture of the cookies were cake like and they burn real easy before the cookie is even done inside.

These were so easy to make. I did cut the cloves to 1/2 teaspoon as felt that was a bit much for such a strong spice. Also cut the baking time to 12 minutes but that could just be my oven runs hot. Anyway they are good and doubt they will last long enough to see if they get hard! Marty71
