"vodka Still Works"

"These are billed as a great alternative to a Bloody Mary especially for brunches. I saw them served on RR - and am looking forward to making them! Sound refreshing if you like the ingredients and are looking for fun new cocktails to serve for New Years!!"

  1. I coated the bottom of the glass with bitters. Maybe about five dashes? Only poured 2 ounces of vodka because DH isn't too fond of strong drinks (I wanted to share just in case I end up with a 10-ounce drink I hate), but I'm amazed that he can even still taste the vodka past the bitters... I now don't want to share it with DH - I love it unequivocally!

  2. We really enjoyed this. I took Amanda's advise and only added a couple of drops of bitters. Lovely and refreshing after a hot day. Thanks Mommy Diva.

  3. This drink has a lot of potential. I liked the spicy flavours, but I felt the bitters was overpowering to the point that it was all you could taste. In my opinion a teaspoon is way too much. A couple of dashes, and this would have been a brilliant brunch drink. Thanks Mommy Diva!
