5 tablespoons water, microwaved until very hot (just a few seconds will do it)
¹⁄₄ cup turbinado sugar
¹⁄₄ cup low sodium soy sauce
3 tablespoons unseasoned rice vinegar
2 teaspoons lime juice
4 garlic cloves, minced (about 4 teaspoons)
2 teaspoons finely chopped red thai bird chiles

directions

In a small bowl stir the sugar into the 5 tablespoons hot water.
Cool; stir in remaining ingredients.
