Place 1 slice of cheese, 2 squares of ham, and 1 teaspoon of sour cream on 1 of the tortillas. Fold in half, then in half again (should be shaped like a wedge). Repeat with remaining cheese, ham, sour cream, and tortillas.

Arrange "turnovers" in a shallow greased baking dish. In a small bowl combine tomato sauce and picante sauce. Pour over tortillas.
Easy and delicious...it doesn't get any better than that. I wasn't able to find corn tortillas at the store, so I had to use flour tortillas. This really had a southwestern flavor to it. I topped it off with a little more sour cream. Made for Aug. 2001 Aus/NZ Swap.

This is so good! we loved it! I used mediterranean herb flavoured tortillas, and i used cheddar cheese. I also used some leftover hot taco sauce for the picante sauce. I addeda n extra slice of cheese in each one, and after baking I sprinkled a little shredded cheese on top. These were a hit, and I will be definately making them again! [Made for Aus/NZ Recipe Swap]

This sure was a surprise. I thought the ingredients would be good together...that's why I made it...but I didn't expect it to be so darn good! This really did make a wonderful quick lunch. I used Canadian bacon instead of the ham and added a touch of chopped cilantro on top because I felt it needed more color and I love the flavor. The only negative thing I can say about this recipe (which I expected) was that the corn tortillas creaked. I agree with Papa Syd that flour tortillas would be great too! Made for PRMR tag game.
