they use caraway and peppers zaar world tour 9 you can use a beef sausage if you want thats what i had to do
- 4 eggs
- 1⁄4 lb ground sausage, lamb or 1⁄4 lb beef
- 1⁄2 cup onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1⁄4 teaspoon caraway seed, ground
- 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1⁄8 cayenne
- 1⁄2 cup green pepper, diced
- oil in skillet.
- heat up add.
- peppers and onion and sausage.
- add garlic.
- and spices.
- remove from pan.
- beat eggs.
- pour into pan.
- add filling on half side flip onto plate.
Made this tonight for dinner. I used pork sausage cause that was what I had on hand. I really liked the caraway addition. Made for ZWT9 and "The Apron String Travelers"
Great omelet!!! I made 1/2 of the recipe and had to sub red bell pepper (all I had on hand) and did use red onion. I also used the sausage, two patties that I cooked and then cut up into smaller pieces for the filling. Served it with some fresh fruit and a biscuit! Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for ZWT 9.
This was such an easy and tasty way to end a really long day, thus no photo sorry. What we both thought set this omelet apart in a good way was the ingredient I thought twice about, found the hint of caraway to be a nice change of pace a tasty accent. Thanks for the post.
