A great quick casserole that's real tasty and serves well over rice (my favorite), bread, noodles, etc. Also great for storing and reheating in the microwave - mix the rice throughout and add some water for best reheating results.
- 44.37 ml butter
- 29.58 ml chopped onions
- 118.29 ml chopped celery
- 44.37 ml Bisquick

- 354.88 ml milk
- 170.09 g can tuna
- Sauté onion and celery in butter.
- Remove from heat.
- Blend in Bisquick and salt.
- Add milk.
- Cook and stir until thick.
- Blend in tuna and heat through.
Don't let the name fool you. This is really good and versitile. I followed the recipe but added my favourite, garlic, and some chopped tomato. Served it over noodles, served with a salad and called it dinner. This "junk" was good! Glad you posted it Bruce.
This was very good! I followed the recipe as directed but I did add garlic, pepper and chili powder. This was very easy so I will be eating this often! Thanks!
