  1. I have made this recipe several times in the past and was glad to find it online so I don't have to rifle through my recipe box. Thank you for taking the time to post it. I like this recipe because it is simple and most ingredients are usually in my pantry so it's something I can throw together quickly, without any funny ingredients from a boxed mix.

  2. Cakey goodness, and oh so simple. I creamed the butter and sugar, before adding the vanilla and eggs (1 at a time!) I mixed the dry ingredients together before adding to 'wet' mixture; I also used pecans! The brownies came out great; I bakes them for 30 minutes, and let them cool before slicing...and I got 24 brownies, and they are good sized! :-) Thanks for sharing, kit in NO! I am a native New Orleanian who is primarily French, Irish, English, and Spanish. I have a degree in Chemistry and work for the Federal Government. I am married to a college Chemistry professor and we have two cats. In my free time, I tutor math and science, paint, restore antiques, garden, and sew. Living in New Orleans has taught me a real appreciation for food. Since cooking is a real passion for me, I have probably a hundred cookbooks. The only thing I can say that I don't like about my life is that I have to watch my weight.
