Three Layer Brownies

I made these for St Patrick's Day. Everyone liked them. They were very sweet, but very good. I found I needed to cut them with a hot knife or the top cracked. For me the top layer was a little too thick. I will definitely make them again.

  1. Combine the first seven ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Beat at medium speed for 3 minutes.
  3. Pour batter into a greased 13"x9"2" baking pan.Bake at 350* for 30 minutes (top of brownies will still appear wet). Cool completely.
  4. Combine filling ingredients in medium bowl.
  5. Beat until creamy.
  6. Spread over cooled brownies.
  7. Refrigerate until set. For topping, melt chocolate chips and butter over low heat in a small saucepan.
  8. Let cool for 30 minutes or until lukewarm, stirring occasionally.
  9. Spread over filling.
  10. Chill before cutting.
  11. Store in the refrigerator.
