I have not tried this recipe. I got this from Food Network it's a The Neely's recipe from Down Home with the Neelys.

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry dough on a lightly floured surface to form a rectangle less than 1/4-inch thick. Place on top of a cookie sheet, lined with parchment paper. Brush dough with egg wash. Bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Cover baked dough with pesto. Add sliced tomatoes and mozzarella on top. Bake for another 5 minutes or until cheese melts.

This is one of the best tart/pizza recipes I have ever tasted! I saw the episode and had to try it right away. It is so easy and sooo good. If I could give it a 10 star rating, I would. Thx. for posting.

This recipe did not work out too good for me, though I think it was my fault...it got mushy and wet on the bottom but I think I put too much pesto on and too cheese and that is what caused it... It did taste good though.

How can you go wrong with these ingredients? I used homemade pesto sauce and fresh mozzarella and it was great. Easy and quick to put together too. We had it for dinner with a side salad. Yum.
