The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

"Just the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever eaten. I also do a variation on them using peanut butter extract and Reese's peanut butter chips. My favorite are the peanut butter ones, but hubby loves the chocolate. I take these to work and they disappear fast."

  1. I can't stop eating them! They are so delicious! I want more!!

  2. These cookies truly are the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had. Light and airy and soft. I think next time I might decrease my flour just a little to keep the batter from getting so crumbly. I added the optional almond extract. EXCEPTIONAL!

  3. Yum. I might use a little more almond extra next time.

I work as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service in Tacoma, WA. Since I work 40+ hours a week, I don't do as much cooking as I used to. I would use quick-to-fix recipes for two people. I love to sew for my grandkids, but don't get a lot of time for that either. I have a little Noble Macaw named Sam and a Lhasa-Pug mix named Bandit. I am an avid reader (just about any fiction) and an even more avid shopper! I love going to Oregon to shop.
