  • Soak the glutinous rice with cold water for 15 minutes and rub the rice with your hands and wash until the water starts to be clear.
  • Put the rice in the microwave safe container and put the water about 2 cup or submerge the rice.
  • Cook on high power about 20 minutes.

  1. We don't own a microwave.. how can I make this using the stove or oven?
     
  2. The recipe says 5 cups of water, but the method says add 2 cups water. Confused

  2. This is a terrific way to make sticky rice. I used calrose rice and didn't measure the water, so needed to cook it a couple of minutes longer. Came out perfect - sticky and good. Thanks Bic for a new keeper. Made for Bargain Basement Tag.

I was a grad student at UNC. Now i am in Chicago. The ingredient in Chicago are more profounding though not as in Thailand. I enjoy cooking since i was a kid in my country, Thailand. I try to cook and improve the taste of my recipe. My recipe might be a bit fusion but it's easy to cook and of course it's thai recipe.
