A classic teriyaki marinade great for pork tenderloin and shishkebab.
- 1⁄2 cup soy sauce
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh gingerroot, grated or 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1⁄4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Marinate meat for at least two hours, but may be marinated overnight.
