ingredients

  • 2 -4 graham crackers (cinnamon, chocolate, or regular. Regular is best)
  • 12 - 1 cup yogurt (I used vanilla flavored)
  • fresh fruit (as much as you'd like to add. I used about 7 raspberries, 4 quartered strawberries, and 4 blackberri)
  • Optional

  • whipped cream, 1 dollop
  • 1 maraschino cherry (to garnish)

directions

  • Have a dish ready, as you're going to be setting this up in layers.
  • Lightly break apart one graham cracker. You can crush it up fine if you'd prefer it to seem more like crust, but broken into smallish pieces is sufficient. Put this in the bottom of your dish.
  • Throw a few heavy dollops of yogurt (about 1/3 of your full amount) onto this, spreading it to cover the "crust".
  • Toss in some of your berries of choice, saving half for the end. Arrange them however you'd like.
  • Add another layer of graham cracker and half of what's left of the yogurt, topping it off with the rest of your berries, the remainder of yogurt and another crumbled up graham cracker.
  • If you want to finish with a fancy flourish, feel free to add a spot of whipped cream and a maraschino cherry for some extra sweetness.
  • Dig in with spoons and enjoy!

I enjoy baking above all other forms of culinary craft, and it makes it difficult to keep my girlish figure sometimes. :D I work at the local Hot Topic as an assistant manager. I'm a very strong-willed, independent type of person. I can learn to do almost anything if I have all the materials and proper instructions in front of me. I'm an anime nerd, I've been teaching myself Japanese for the last five months or so... I'm an aspiring novelist: I have a few stories finished and many in progress. I have some poetry published, but none of my stories are in print... yet. The tri-level brownies I make for events/special occasions are always a hit. XD
