  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Brown ground beef over medium high heat in a skillet. Drain and return to skillet.
  3. Add tomato sauce, corn, sugar, chili powder, olives, garlic and chili. Simmer 20 minutes.
  4. Pour into casserole dish. Top with cheese.
  5. Prepare cornbread as directed. Top chili mixture.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes.

Delish! Exactly what I was looking for to recreate a dish my husband's grandmother used to make. I subbed a can of kidney beans for the chili and added some salt and pepper. Fantastic and easy recipe! Will be a regular on the rotation! Thank you!!!

WOW! The only problem that I had was the amount. I was unable to cook thoroughly through because we live in an RV and the oven is a lot smaller. So I will cut in half and cook to portions so that it will accomodate the oven size we currently have.
