- 236.59 ml dried kidney beans
- 118.29 ml dried pinto bean
- 453.59 g ground beef, cooked and drained
- 35.43 g package taco seasoning mix
- 28.34 g package buttermilk ranch salad dressing mix
- 44.37 ml dried onion flakes
- 4.92 ml chili powder
- 1.23 ml ground cumin
- 946.36 ml water
- 333.10 g can diced tomatoes and green chilies
- 453.59 g can tomato sauce
directions
- Place beans in a large bowl, cover with water and soak 6 to 8 hours, or overnight. Drain and add to a Dutch oven.
- Add everything else to the pot.
- Heat to boiling, cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 2 hours, or until beans are tender.
- Serve with corn or tortilla chips.
- **If using canned beans, you won't need to let simmer for 2 hours. I would say about 45 minutes or so.
