Homemade syrup for pancakes or waffles, no preservatives like store bought. 5/11/07 Changed the recipe so not as sweet. Original recipe had 1 cup brown sugar, no honey and 1 cup water.
- 118.29 ml brown sugar, firmly packed
- 118.29 ml honey, local raw is best
- 59.14 ml water
- 14.79 ml butter
- 4.92 ml vanilla
- Add all ingredients to saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Reduce to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, if too runny for you cook a little longer until your desired consistency.
