3 easy steps! I often serve this as a side dish at barbeques and everyone wants the recipe. People often can't quite decide whether to eat it as a veg or pudding, so they often do both! Great hot or cold. As all the ingredients can be pre-mixed, I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who tries this dish while camping, using e.g. a cast iron dish over an open fire ?

  1. Mix all the ingredients.
  2. Pour into a greased oven dish.
  3. Bake at 180 C for 1 hour.

Mmmm. DH and I enjoy our corn putting a little on the sweet side so we thoroughly enjoyed this one. This recipe bakes up with a lovely brown crust on top and a soft sweet center. One big plus for this recipe is that there is no added butter, hooray. I did use Splenda for baking and eggbeaters. Thanks so much for the post.

This is very sweet. I baked it in a cast iron skillet in the oven. My boys really liked it a lot. Next time I don't think I will add the extra sugar. I think the creamed corn is sweet enough by itself. Made for PAC Spring 2008.
