  1. I've used this sauce many times on cooked meatballs. It provides a sweet, tangy sauce and cooks down to a nice thick sauce. It does great in a crockpot.

  2. I was looking for a recipe similar to my moms and this was it. I doubled it and only made one change and that was adding a tablespoon of worchestershire sauce as this is how I think my mom makes it. We almost fought over the leftovers. Update Feb '08 I just made this again and it was way too sweet. I wonder if the first time I made it I doubled everything except the sugar. I'm making it again tomorrow with half the sugar and I think that will be perfect.

  3. I was looking for a sweet BBQ sauce for pork loin - I was out of bottled. This was actually too sweet for our tastes and we usually prefer sweet BBQ. We added some red pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion flakes and chili powder which gave the flavor more character but still too sweet.

  4. Thanks for a simple but yummy sauce recipe. I wanted to make barbeque pizzas but had no bottled sauce so made this as the topping instead. I used tomato sauce instead of catsup as I didn't have any. Will most probably use the leftover sauce for spare ribs. Thanks again!!

This is a picture of my sweet hubby and me. We've been married for over two years and I love cook. My husband is a very fit guy who works really hard, but loves to eat. All of our friends are wondering how long his fitness will last eating all the sweets I cook! :) I love this website and use it quite a bit. I am a Christian, and I work at a home for troubled kids. I teach music. All of the recipes that I have posted are my absolute favorites. I will never post a recipe that I have not made myself. <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/participantbannerzwt5.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/Permanent%20Collection/PACSpring09Iwasadopted.jpg"> <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/Permanent%20Collection/PACSpring09Participation.jpg"> <img src="http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a132/tgifford/Game%20Room%20Banners/AM%20Banners/potluckpbanner.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/IWasAdoptedfall08.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/PACfall08partic.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/Adopted1smp.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/PAC08Main.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/adoptedspring08.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y120/peacefulnightdove/memdaych.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/DUCHESS13/Zaar%20World%20Tour%204/ZWTAB-tg.gif">
