  1. I was stressed out last Thanksgiving …..we were on vacation in NC and left my sweet potato recipe home. I’m not a cook so I rely a lot on recipes so I look up recipes and found this one and it was a 100% hit. I can’t wait to serve and have some tomorrow. I did add more Rice Krispies as suggested in below comments and can’t remember if I reduced the sugar and brown sugar too. Thank you for this recipe.

  2. I love the topping. The next time, I will use 3 cups of rice crispy because it looks scrimpy on my 9x13 pan. Also, I only used 1/2 cup of sugar in my potatoes mixture (personal preference). I also reduced hthe brown sugar in the topping to 3/4 cup. Very good dish. Thank you for posting it.

  3. This stuff is yummy! I actually make pies for Thanksgiving/Christmas with this recipe. Prepare a little extra topping, pour the sweet potato mixture in to two deep dish pie shells, top and bake for 25-30 minutes....Delicious! The crunchy sweet topping really does make it special.
