  1. This was really tasty! Just a hint of sweet potato flavor, so next time I may add more, but I wonder if that would mess up the recipe? For those who are new to bread making, salt kills yeast so I made sure to add the salt before the flour so the yeast wasn't sitting right on the salt.

  2. Just getting ready to make this bread again. It really is a good bread. Just love it. I did use can pumpkin in this recipe instead of sweet potato and it is just as good. Thanks for the recipe.

  3. My family love it!!! It was gone the same night. I paired it with homemade (copycat recipe) of Texas Roadhouse butter. Yummy!

  4. Really delicious bread but recipe needs a little tweaking. 1/2 cup of water is not enough. Before adding more water I had a very hard lump of dough to work with. 3/4 cup is the amount of water that finally made the dough perfect for me. This bread is pretty sweet. Next time I'm going to reduce the brown sugar to 1/4 cup. And if you're expecting a strong cinnamon taste, I would suggest adding more cinnamon.

  5. Great bread that rose very well in my bread machine. I made the following changes based on what I had and my preferences. Used olive oil for the butter, replaced 1 cup of flour with whole spelt flour to increase the fibre a bit, omitted the vanilla and the milk powder (didn't have any of those). I will definitely put this bread into my regular rotation. Thanks for posting.
