I was trying out bulgur wheat for the first time, and I decided to try to make it sweet, like my oatmeal. I decided to try a slim vanilla soy milk, but you can really use any type of soy milk/milk that you would like.
- 2⁄3 cup Bulgar wheat
- 1 1⁄3 cups soymilk
- cinnamon (to taste)
- sugar (to taste) or sugar substitute (to taste)
- Put soy milk into pot. Heat until boiling.
- Once boiling add bulgur wheat, cover and reduce temperature to low. Let simmer for 15 minutes, or until liquid is almost absorbed.
- Add sugar and cinnamon to taste.
