Sweet Basil, Tomato and Goat Cheese Crustini

- 1⁄2 French baguette
- 2 teaspoons butter or 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 4 ounces goat cheese
- 6 leaves fresh basil, chopped
- 2 medium ripened tomatoes, sliced
- 1 pinch coarse sea salt
- 3 turns ground pepper
directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, split your baguette in half lengthwise. Brush bread with butter or olive oil, spread goat cheese evenly on the bread, top with basil and layer with the sliced tomat.
- Bake for 15 minutes; garnish with sea salt, ground pepper and a bit of chopped basil.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
