  1. This was great! I tried to reduce the sugar a little, and I wouldn't recommend that...I added it back in after tasting! It was icy and great on a warm morning! I'll make it again, for the depth of flavor and ease of preparation! Thanks for sharing, Syd!

  2. I had this for a bit of a naughty breakfast treat yesterday. What I enjoyed though was that it wasn't actually all that naughty. We don't have half and half in the UK, so I used light soy milk but other than that kept with the recipe. It was a bit thick, I agree, but I just upped the quantity of soy milk to think it out slightly. Made for vegetarian swap.

  3. This was very refreshing on a hot day! This drink is very easy to vary to personal taste- personally I found the chocolate too strong and the coffee too weak so would change the amounts of those next time. Thanks for this lovely diet recipe!

  4. Made as written and found it to be a bit too thick. I re-did it with an extra 1/4 cup half-and-half, and it was just right. The taste was very good ( I used dark cocoa). I would cut the sweetener down next time, but that is a personal taste-I don't use much sweetener in my coffee. The best thing about it is not having to brew coffee and letting it cool. I always keep a jar of espresso powder on hand just for this type of treat.

  5. What's not to like about this tasty treat? A nice thick chocolate drink with coffee under tones. Made as written may of used a little more then 1/2 cup of ice as I did not measure the ice. Thanks so much for the post.
