ingredients
- 828.06 ml fresh strawberries or 828.06 ml frozen strawberries
- 591.47 ml crushed ice
- 118.29 ml tequila
- 118.29 ml fresh lime juice (about 5 limes)
- 59.14 ml sugar
- 44.37 ml Cointreau liqueur (orange-flavored liqueur)
- lime wedge (optional)
directions
- Combine all ingredients except lime wedges in a blender, and process until smooth.
- Pour evenly into each of 4 large glasses.
- Garnish with lime wedges, if desired.
- Serve immediately.

Quick and easy to make, and we had all the ingredients on hand! A bit thick but I like it that way! Will make again! -
Delicious! Easy and fresh! This margarita is so much better than any I have ordered in a restaurant or bar. -
I made two batches of this for our Cinco de Mayo party. One batch I made as written and the other I substituted Strawberry-Kiwi juice for all the alchohol for the kids. We loved them. So good, I'm licking my lips as I type this.....yum. Thank you for this lovely treat for us and our guests. -

Very nice cocktail! I'd recommend adding the ice after processing the other ingredients as it went slightly watery, but it was tasty all the same. Thanks!

I was one of the original members of Recipezaar that was truly a community of individuals that enjoyed each other in forums and chat rooms. I've been a member of this site since 2003. Made some tremendous friends that I still think of often. I'll continue coming here because my recipes are here and so many more that I tried over the years as a member. It's just a tad boring now and just another recipe site like all the rest. Sad.
