ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs of catty prawns (medium to big size)
- 2 smashed garlic cloves
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 8 spring onions (6 shredded, 2 cut into shape of flower)
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1⁄4 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon wine
- pepper
- sesame oil

Sauce
- 3 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons water
directions
- - Clean prawns, slice horizontally.
- - Heat up oil, deep fry smashed garlic, add diced red pepper and seasonings. Stir well.
- - Spread shredded spring onion on plate and place prawns on top. Pour deep-fried smashed garlic and the seasoning on the prawns. Steam over high heat for 4 minutes.
- - Heat sauce ingredients and pour on prawns. Garnish with flower-shaped spring onions.
