I got this recipe out of Food for Thought. You have to let the steak sit on your tongue for a few seconds to taste all the flavors in this marinade.
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1⁄2 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon rind
- 1⁄3 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 green onion, chopped
- Combine all ingredients. Use to marinade steaks several hours or overnight.
Very nice marinade. I like using honey vs brown/white sugar in marinades cause it has abit more nutritional value. I used lemon pepper for the rind & increased the garlic. Enjoyed the flavours, thanks for sharing.
