Spicy Fatboy Sausage Pasta

• Serves: 6

ingredients

• 14.79 ml olive oil
• 453.59 g hot Italian sausage (casings removed and crumbled)
• 4 garlic cloves, minced
• 2.46 ml red pepper flakes
• 453.59 g penne pasta
• 44.37 ml butter
• 236.59 ml whipping cream
• 118.29 ml parmesan cheese, shredded
• 29.58 ml fresh parsley, chopped

directions

1. Heat oil in hot pan, and add sausage, garlic and red pepper flakes.
2. Break apart and cook until no longer pink and add cream — simmer on low.
3. Add pasta to boiling water — when the pasta's ready, so is the sausage.
4. Drain pasta and add to sausage.
5. Add butter, parmesan cheese & parsley — mix well.
6. Sprinkle with a little more cheese of course and serve.

Mmm, this makes such a great comfort meal on a cold day. It's so good! I love the spice with the creamy noodles. I didn't change a thing and made it exactly as written. Fantastic pasta dish! Thanks for sharing. Made for Bargain Basement tag game.

This was awesome! My husband is a picky eater and went back for seconds. I sautéed some sweet red pepper and onions before adding sausage to brown. I will be saving this one.
