"I threw this together to go with mikekey's recipe for Chili-Lime Baked Turkey and we really enjoyed it. Use the measures specified on the rice package for preparing the rice, just add the other ingredients in. No additional liquid is required."

  • In a medium saucepan, bring water or broth to boil over high heat.
  • Meanwhile, place rice in a fine strainer or colander and rinse well; drain.
  • Add all ingredients to saucepan, including the rice, and prepare per the package directions.

  1. We didn't really care for this. I think it was the combination of the celery and the seasoned salt, but I'm not really sure. We also thought that the onion was a little overpowering as well. Made for Healthy Choices ABC.
