Great if you're in a hurry. I usually have all the ingredients on hand. I've only used the microwave version.
- 1 (28 ounce) can pork and beans
- 1⁄3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1⁄4 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- Combine all ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes, or Microwave on high 7- 9 1/2 minutes, stirring twice-cover with wax paper while cooking.
Best "doctored" canned beans I've ever eaten!! Amount of sugar was just right for my family.

I thought these beans were ok, but nothing special. I used Bush's Original beans and made them in the crockpot. I did finish them on the stove to thicken them up a bit.
