Another alternative for adding a little extra flavor to leftover rice...
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1⁄2 small red bell pepper (diced)
- 3 cups cooked white rice
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- Sauté red bell pepper in olive oil.
- Prepare Golden Rice by thoroughly mixing remaining the ingredients, cover, and place in the microwave oven for 2 minutes.
- Remove rice and stir in sautéed red bell pepper.
