"I am hunting for THE perfect pancake recipe. I'm not sure if these are them, as I got the recipe from a friend, but I intend to try them. This serves as Pancake Trial 4."

• Serves: 6

ingredients

• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1⁄4 cup white sugar
• 3 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 3 cups buttermilk
• 1⁄2 cup milk
• 1⁄3 cup butter, melted
• 3 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

directions

1. In a medium bowl, combine wet ingredients.
2. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients.
3. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until well-blended. (The batter will be thick; if you do not like this, add a little milk until the batter reaches the consistency you prefer.).
4. Cook until air bubbles come through and then flip to the other side until a nice golden brown.
