- 1⁄2 beet, cooked
- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 4 ounces parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin seed
directions
- Peel and grate the beet, if you have not already done so when you cooked the beet.
- Place all ingredients into a food processor or blender. Blend to a smooth dough.
- Roll the dough into a cylinder shape and cover with plastic wrap. Freeze for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Slice the dough into disks and place on baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool on baking rack.
