Your kids will love this! And parents will love it too! From Mother and Daughter Health episode on TV.
- 1 large ripe banana, cut in chunks
- 2 kiwi, peeled
- 1⁄2 cup crushed ice
- 3 tablespoons apple cider or 3 tablespoons juice
- green food coloring
- Place banana chunks, kiwi, ice, and apple cider in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Add food coloring to desired green color.
I skipped the food coloring. It was yummy.
We *loved* this. We will definitely be making this again! Thanks! Reviewed for Healthy Choices ABC.
This is really tasty, I only had one good kiwi left so also added some green grapes to bulk it up. Instead of food colouring I added some baby spinach for extra green & to also get a serving of vegies into my toddler DD, she happily gulped this up. This would also be a great mixture for ice-pops. Thanks Sharon!
