Simple and addictive recipe from Bon Appetit. Great as an appetizer. Shichimi-togarashi is a Japanese seasoning (made from dried chiles, sesame seeds and seaweed) and can be found in the Asian aisle of some supermarkets.

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees with rack on top.
  2. Put potatoes on parchment lined baking sheet.Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.
  3. Roast for 25 minutes. Flip over and roast for 15 - 20 minutes longer (or until golden and tender).
  4. Mix salt, shichimi and sugar in small bowl and sprinkle over fries.
