A quick and simple clam sauce. A great pantry recipe.

  1. Drain clams in a colander, reserve liquid.
  2. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic; cook 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
  4. Add tomato parsley and pepper, cook 1 minute.
  5. Add wine, cook 30 seconds.
  6. Add reserved Clam liquid and pasta, tossing to coat; cook 3 minutes or until liquid almost evaporates, stirring frequently.
  7. Stir in clams and basil.
  8. Serve immediately.


Most Helpful

The flavor was nice, but it was really watery. Part of that could have been because I used canned tomatoes rather than fresh.
