- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 1⁄2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- fresh ground pepper
- 1⁄4 cup dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons fresh parsley
- parsley sprig, for garnish
directions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and saute 2 minutes. Add shrimp and saute until shrimp turn pink and curl, 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and remove to a warm platter. Add wine and lemon juice to skillet, bring to a boil, and boil for 1 minute. Reduce heat, return shrimp and parsley to pan, and heat through. Transfer to serving platter, garnish with parsley sprigs and serve at once.
