  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and saute 2 minutes. Add shrimp and saute until shrimp turn pink and curl, 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and remove to a warm platter. Add wine and lemon juice to skillet, bring to a boil, and boil for 1 minute. Reduce heat, return shrimp and parsley to pan, and heat through. Transfer to serving platter, garnish with parsley sprigs and serve at once.

  1. this is a really good basic recipe; however, it was a little dry for me. I increased butter to 1/2 C, used 3 cloves worth of crushed garlic and upped the white wine to 1/2 C. I also used thin lemon slices as garnish instead the parsley. I served it over rice and it was just great.
