Sheila's Orange Sauce

"This is a nice sauce to serve with roast pork....a change from applesauce. It's on an old food covered recipe card.....no idea where it came from."

• Ingredients: 6
• Yields: 1 1/2 cups

ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup sugar
• 1 tablespoon cornstarch
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 12 cloves
• 1 cup orange juice (reconstituted)

directions

1. Combine all and cook until thick and clear.
2. Remove cloves and serve.
3. Cooking time is approximate.

Great recipe ! Very good with roast duck. I find the amount of cloves to be more of a personal taste amount. I only throw in a few to enhance the orange just a bit. Very quick and easy to make. Thanks for sharing this recipe with us!!
