- 2 lbs sea scallops
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 shallot, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Sprinkle scallops with salt and pepper. Brush with olive oil. Thread onto 4 skewers.
- Grill, covered with grill lid, on a lightly greased grill rack over medium heat 4 to 6 minutes on each side or until opaque in center.
- Combine margarine, honey, lemon juice, shallots, and garlic in a small saucepan over medium heat 5 to 10 minutes. Serve with scallops.
Great recipe, its quick, easy, & taste wonderful. Every piece was eaten. The glaze was just right, didn't over power the scallops. I will pass this on. Thanks for sharing.
I really enjoyed this recipe. I used my stove top grill to cook the scallops. The sauce has a real nice flavor.
I tried cooking scallops for the first time and enjoyed this glaze with it. I pan seared the scallops though. Next time I'll let the sauce reduce a little more. Thanks!
