Sausage Pasta Thing

Much like, but modified to suit my picky kids.

  1. Cook pasta according to package.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan over medium heat, heat the oil. Add sausage, crumbling and cooking until browned.
  3. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
  4. Add the broth and red pepper and bring to a boil.
  5. Add the broccoli, cover, and cook until tender (do not overcook, or you'll end up with mush).
  6. Stir in the butter and cheese then cook until the sauce thickens a little (2 minutes or so).
  7. Add it to the drained pasta, mix, season with salt/pepper.
  8. Eat!
