"From my Great Aunt Florence--these are a holiday favorite."

• Yields: 24 cookies

ingredients

• 236.59 ml butter
• 118.29 ml sugar
• 473.18 ml flour
• 2 egg yolks
• 2 egg whites
• 354.88-473.18 ml pecans, chopped
• raspberry preserves

directions

1. Cream butter and sugar together.
2. Add flour and egg yolks. Beat 1 minute.
3. Chill.
4. Shape into balls. Dip in egg whites and roll in chopped pecans.
5. Flatten on a cookie sheet and press thumb in center of each cookie. Fill indentation with jam.
6. Cook at 350 for 8-10 minutes.
