Salad Dressing

"I got this recipe from the July 13, 2004 issue of Family circle. If you like a flavorful dressing this is a nice recipe to use up the last of the mustard in the squeeze bottle."

• Ingredients: 3
• Yields: 3/4 cup

ingredients

• 1 -2 tablespoon mustard
• 1⁄2 cup olive oil
• 1⁄4 cup vinegar (I like red wine vinegar)

directions

1. Unscrew the cap to the mustard bottle.
2. Add olive oil and vinegar.
3. Shake well.
4. Enjoy over your favorite salad.

We keep a bottle of the exact same dressing at home. It's a great "all purpose" dressing. A bit of minced garlic is a nice added touch, but it has lots of flavour as is.

I always love simple and basic recipes. All I did to this was add some minced garlic. Good on a green salad.
