Really Good Peanut Butter Cookies

Creamy and soft. A friend gave me this recipe, and with the addition of peanut butter chips, this is our favourite.

  1. Cream margarine, peanut butter and sugars.
  2. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  3. Stir dry ingredients together, add to creamed mixture.
  4. Beat on medium speed until blended well; stir in peanut butter chips.
  5. Chill dough at least 20 minutes.
  6. Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes.

Loved these cookies! The grandkids have informed me they expect these in my cookie jar at all times...which is fine with me, as this recipe is quick and uses ingredients I always have on hand. The only change I made was to use Smart Balance 50/50 Butter Blend in place of the margarine with no problems. Thank you Dee.

Great cookies! The only thing I did differently was not chill the dough, they didn't spead out much and had nice crispy edges and a soft middle. Thanks for the recipe Chef Dee, everyone in this house loved them.

Mine werent creamy but were semi soft, but maybe I baked a little to long. The flavor is great as I really like peanutbutter cookies with margarine and not shortening. Great recipe that got great reviews from those eating them!! Going to try again for creamier and softer ones!! Thanks Dee.
