Raspberry Iced Tea

This was delightful. It was very refreshing and quite tasty. I usually don't care for a lot of the fruit-flavored iced tea mixes, but this is one that I would enjoy with just about any meal. Made for "Something Old, Something New: A Lucky Menu Just For You" event, March 2009.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 946.36 ml water
  • 0 inch gingerroot
  • 3 tea bags
  • 340.19 g frozen raspberry drink concentrate, thawed
  • 2365.9 ml carbonated lemon-lime beverage, chilled (two 2 liters)


  1. In a 1 quart glass jar, combine water, gingeroot and tea bags.
  2. Place in a sunny place for 3 hours or until tea is to your liking.
  3. Remove the tea bags and gingeroot.
  4. In a 2 quart plastic container (don't use metal), combine tea, concentrate and 2 cups lemon-lime soda.
  5. Cover container and freeze for 8 hours or until icy.
  6. Stir mixture at least two times during freezing process.
  7. To serve, spoon 1/2 cup frozen tea mixture into each glass.
  8. Add 1/2 cup chilled lemon-lime soda to glass and gently stir.
