  • 11 medium red potatoes
  • 1 (15 1/2 ounce) container t marzettis ranch dip
  • 1 12 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 3 stalks green onions, sliced,using all white and most of the green (scallions)

directions

  • Cook the potatoes and let cool, then cut into quarters or smaller if pieces are to big.
  • Then add cooled potatoes and the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl and mix.
  • Let sit overnight in the fridge to soak up the flavor.
  • Serve cool.

This is a great recipe!<br/>I did not have red potato's but used what I had and it was lovely.<br/>Great flavours and the added bacon was fantastic.<br/>I could not buy ranch dip, so made it with Recipe#333414, I don't not what ranch dip is supposed to taste like but Recipe#333414 worked well and tasted wonderful with the potato salad.<br/>Easy to make and a wonderful creamy flavour.<br/>Thanks Angela for a great potato salad recipe.
     
  2. Really ,really good---I microwaved the potatos, and instead of ranch dip I used dill dip..this is a real keeper...and no eggs to go bad at a picnic..Thanks for sharing this fantastic recipe
     
  3. Great Recipe. microwaved potatoes...not boiled, let cool before dicing. I added extra bacon and scallions. Made the day before and let sit in refrigerator over night....everyone loved it.
     
  4. Excellent recipe! Easy to make - tastes like it took a long time. Reminds me of the baked potato salad's I've had before. I think the flavors are perfect as is. I added a little pepper. That's the only change I made. Thanks for making me a big hit at the 4th of July party!
     
  5. Ok, I must admit I have made this recipe a few times now. When I first mad this it was a bit strong in the ranch flavor. I have adjusted it a bit when I have made it again. I have found that using the ranch dip mix and adding about 2 to 3 tbsp of mayonaise makes it a bit creamier and cuts the overwhelming rancy tang. Always well received potato salad. Its BBQ season again, this will find it's way to my table quite a bit I think. Thanks for a great recipe.
