These make a decorative presentation served sprinkled over soups, such as Cream of Garlic Soup with Root Vegetables, or sprinkled over a salad. These are so good, they make a great snack too! Use desired amounts. I put 8 servings, but this will vary according to how much pastry is used.

Directions

  1. Cut small squares out of desired amount of pastry sheets. Brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with black sesame or regular sesame seeds.
  2. Bake in a preheated 400*F. oven for 15 minutes until golden. Float in soup, sprinkle over a salad, or eat out of hand as a snack! Enjoy!

Rich and buttery and very pretty. These are simple croutons for that special soup or salad. I ate them as a snack first. Yummy! Made for 'Zaar Tag.
