Poppy seed noodle is a popular dish in Hungary (and probably in other Eastern-European countries, too). Try out the following variation: - skip the pepper - get more poppy seed (say 1/2 cup), mix it with sugar (depends on taste, I usually have 1 part sugar, 3 parts poppy seed or so) - grind the poppy seed/sugar mix in a small spice/coffee blade grinder. You need to grind it for ~20-30 seconds, the poppy seed will get stuck to the side of the grinder after a while, you can stop it then. Add a generous amount to the pasta - much more than what is shown in the original recipe. It should look like the attached picture. Grinding brings out a much richer poppy seed flavor. P.S. don't forget to brush your teeth after the meal :)
