- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1⁄2 garlic clove (finely grated or pressed)
- 2 cups kale (Chopped)
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 1 pinch fresh ground black pepper
- 1 pinch ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 egg (poached)
directions
- Add the olive oil and garlic to a soup mug and top with the kale; sprinkle with water.
- Cover the mug with plastic wrap, vent, and microwave at 1000 watts for 1 minute.
- Sprinkle the kale with salt, pepper to taste, and cumin; stir. Cover and microwave at 1000 watts for 1 minute.
- Stir the kale and top with the egg. Serve in the mug or transfer to a plate.
