I cannot remember where I got this recipe, but I like it because these ingredients are usually always in the house, even if you need to go grocery shopping. Great way to ease a sweet tooth! And, my toddler loves it!
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1⁄2 cup butter (Melted)
- 2 (24 ounce) cans peaches, w/juice or 1 can blueberries
- Mix all ingredients EXCEPT for the fruit and juice into your baking dish.
- Pour, DO NOT MIX, the fruit and juice into the above mixture.
- Bake at 375 Degrees for 40-45 minutes to an hour.
Tried this and had to throw it out. I had the recipe for this cobbler somewhere, but misplaced it so I tried this one. I do believe my original recipe calls for self-rising flour, not all-purpose. Also, before it finished baking, I had to drain some of the liquid off. I would drain the liquid from one of the cans of fruit and use half as much butter.
