"Pineapple cake with coconut and pecans"

ingredients

• 2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 20 ounces crushed pineapple
• 1⁄2 cup salted butter
• 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
• 2⁄3 cup evaporated milk
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 1 cup coconut flakes

directions

1. Blend first 6 ingredients in large bowl.
2. Pour into greased 9x13 pan.
3. Bake 40-45 minutes.
4. Remove from oven and poke several holes in cake with handle of wooden spoon.
5. In saucepan heat next 4 ingredients.
6. Add pecans and coconut; heat 5 more minutes, stirring constantly.
7. Spoon topping evenly over cake.
