A slight variation on the popular cream cheese-Pickapeppa combination. It works fine with light cream cheese or regular. Amounts can be adjusted. Serve with crackers. To be truthful, I have no idea how to calculate number of servings, so I'm just guessing at 1 Tbs cream cheese per serving.
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1⁄4 cup Pickapeppa Sauce
- red pepper jelly
- Pour a goodly amount Pickapeppa over cream cheese on a small serving plate.
- Top with a generous dollop of red pepper jelly.
I served this at my cookout today... it was a big hit! I have the BEST red pepper jelly, from George & Prince on Edisto Island, SC... this was the perfect recipe to use it with! Wasn't sure about what to use for dippers, but celery and melba rounds seemed to be the most popular. Thanks!
MMMMMM...good. Served the red pepper jelly on the side--for the less heat-lovers. This was not only good, but a lovely presentation, echo echo. Thanks for creating this easy and wonderful appy. Made for PACFall06. Caroline
Never thought of putting the Pickapeppa and pepper jelly together, but what a GREAT combo. I usually have one serving dish with the jelly and cream cheese and another with the Pickapeppa, but won't be doing that any more!! THANK YOU for the great idea.
